Shahjahan Brothers Decorator is more than just an event management company—it’s a story of vision, resilience, and pioneering spirit. Our journey began in the heart of post-liberation Bangladesh, when two brothers S M Shahjahan and S M Anwar, migrated to Dhaka with a simple dream: to fill a gap they saw in a rapidly changing society. In the aftermath of the Liberation War in 1971, Dhaka was transforming. While the city grew, there was a noticeable absence of professional decorators and event managers to bring important celebrations and milestones to life. After working in the industry and gaining hands-on experience, the brothers saw an opportunity. In the late 1970s, they established Shahjahan Brothers Decorator in Malibagh, then a strategic location close to Dhaka’s business district and government offices. Back then, “event management” was known simply as “decorating.” The brothers set out with a clear vision: to provide the highest quality event solutions to everyone—no matter the size or type of occasion—while building a reputation for reliability, trust, and satisfaction.

Growth, Innovation, and Leadership
From modest beginnings, Shahjahan Brothers Decorator quickly became a household name in Dhaka and beyond. Our dedication and commitment earned us opportunities to manage not just private events but also large-scale government programs, corporate functions, convocations, and weddings all over Bangladesh. We are proud to have been pioneers in establishing some of the nation’s first full-fledged convention centers, including Othithi Convention Center in Rampura, Shohagh Convention Hall in Banglamotor, Ananda Bhaban in Paltan, and . Over the years, we have also taken on the management of some of the country’s largest and most prestigious venues, including Sena Kunjo, Shaheen Hall and many others. We also work in the biggest international 5-star chains like InterContinental Dhaka, Sheraton, Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel,etc and companies in Bangladesh
